Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy explains the cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms applicable to bookings and event services provided by Bandhan Lawns, Palghar.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking will be considered confirmed only after the required advance payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed by Bandhan Lawns.
2. Cancellation by Client
If the client wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, the client must inform Bandhan Lawns as soon as possible through the registered contact details.
- Cancellation charges may apply depending on the time remaining before the scheduled event date.
- Advance payments may be non-refundable where expenses, reservations, manpower, arrangements or third-party services have already been committed.
- Any refund, if applicable, will be determined after deducting applicable cancellation charges and non-recoverable expenses.
3. Event Date Rescheduling
Requests for changing the event date may be considered subject to venue availability and prior approval from Bandhan Lawns.
- Rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
- Additional charges may apply if the new date has a different pricing structure.
- Any third-party/vendor charges already incurred may be payable by the client.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility will depend on the individual booking, cancellation date, services selected and expenses already incurred for the event.
Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount will be calculated after deducting applicable charges, taxes, processing fees and non-refundable expenses, wherever applicable.
5. Non-Refundable Expenses
Certain expenses may become non-refundable once arrangements have been made, including but not limited to:
- Decoration and setup arrangements
- Catering or food-related procurement
- Photography and videography bookings
- DJ, music and entertainment arrangements
- Third-party vendor bookings
- Special equipment or event-related arrangements
- Manpower and advance procurement costs
6. Cancellation by Bandhan Lawns
In exceptional circumstances, Bandhan Lawns may need to cancel or modify an event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, operational restrictions, government orders, natural events, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, Bandhan Lawns will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the client and, wherever possible, offer an alternative date or suitable resolution.
7. Force Majeure
Bandhan Lawns shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellation or inability to provide services caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, public emergencies, strikes, civil disturbances or other unforeseen events.
8. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, the refund will normally be processed using the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.
Processing time may vary depending on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution involved.
9. Taxes & Transaction Charges
Applicable taxes, payment gateway charges, transaction fees and other non-recoverable charges may be deducted from any eligible refund, wherever applicable.
10. No-Show
If the client does not attend or use the booked venue/services on the scheduled date without prior cancellation or approval, the booking may be treated as a no-show and the amount paid may not be refundable.
